New Phones

Nokia and Sony Ericsson are constantly releasing new mobile phones, some with style in mind, some with functionality in mind and some with both.


A lot of the new phones are absolutely stunning and have functions you’d never imagine for many more years to come.


One of Nokia’s NSeries beauties is the N82, a stylish and very impressive mobile phone handset. The Nokia N82 can actually read text using its camera and speak it back to you with stunning accuracy, only making mistakes every once and a while. You just hold the camera up to what you want it to read for you and it will talk it back to you but this technology created by the KNFB (Kurzweil Technologies and the National Federation of the Blind) doesn’t come cheap. The Nokia N82 comes in at a whopping $3.450 Australian, OUCH. For the vision impaired this may be a lifesaver and no price can be put on the increased quality of life it will deliver.


The N82 has 100MB of internal memory and can be expanded with a Micro SD card but the exact size is unknown at this point.

The N82 has a 2.4 inch QVGA screen at 240×320 with 16.7 million colours. Now that’s an impressive screen.

It uses a Symbian S60 3rd edition operating system and the screen automatically rotates from landscape to portrait when you tilt it.

What one needs to remember is that not ever mobile phone Is made equal. Some are notorious for certain flaws. Some mobiles will lack certain features and some will lack the quality of that feature to perform they way it was promised.


In all mobile phones are taking over at an alarming rate and some people are willing to pay an absolute fortune for a very stylish cell phone. That’s why sites like immobile were created, to help people make the right purchase decision.


When a new phone is released people go crazy but after a while people wish they had done their homework.


The Apple Iphone 3G is fairly new and still fairly popular but there are things about it that a lot of people don’t like.

Such problems include the lack of MMS picture messaging which just about every phone has these days. Apple also has a black list that allows Apple to block third party Apple Iphone 3G software as they see fit. This doesn’t mean that you can’t use third party Iphone 3G software, it just means that apple can at any time block the software from working on the Iphone.
